I'm embarrassed to admit that I had been married for 15 years before I knew that the whole point of marriage was to bring each other to holiness.  Really?  I thought it was just handy to have built-in computer guy around - you mean I was supposed to help him get to heaven?  In this podcast, Deacon Tim and I talk about God's plan for your marriage, whether you're married to a sinner or a saint!  Please send this podcast to anyone you care about - our broken world needs to hear this message!

The State of the Union, Part 1

The state of the marital union?  In general, not so good.  We all have witnessed the shattered remains of friends and family ripped apart by divorce.  We'll be talking for a few podcasts about the topic, so if you're a bit disillusioned about your own marriage, or know someone who is, this series is for you.  Or heck, if you're happily married, this series is for you.  Who couldn't use a little tune-up now and then?

If you could use some real help with your marriage, Deacon Tim gives a couple of helpful resources: www.smartmarriage.com  and www.retrouvaille.org.   As Deacon Tim points out, this last one is a marketing nightmare since no one can spell or say this obscure French term, but the results are amazing.  I've known deeply troubled couples who now have a vibrant marriage.  Click on those links!
