Part of the Lenten observance includes fasting from time to time. Being hungry is a great way of diverting our attention away from the "urgent" and refocusing it on the "important".
How hungry are you for eternal nourishment, though? It's easy to intellectually state the tenets of your faith, but are you able to keep the fire for God stoked at all times? Life is an ebb and flow process, so it would be unrealistic to expect our entire adult lifetimes to be a constant and continuous high-water mark in our faith, but perhaps our daily hunger for God might be better if we made fostering it a priority?
Check out this week's podcast and sound off on any ideas you might have for helping all of us keep our yearning for our Maker high.

Thanks for this one. I've been feeling a little sorry for myself lately (pregancy, winter, blah!) and this one worked to help me get motivated to do the things I wanted to do at the beginning of Lent. I'll start the "search for hunger" or..."hunger for hunger"? Heehee. I've got a lot of work to do!
