In the Catholic Church, there are issues of grave importance which will cause the Pope to speak to his flock, and this document is called an "encyclical". This summer, Pope Benedict delivered one that was quite different - he was sounding an alarm, warning the world about the opportunities and dangers of the clean-up of the aftermath of our global economic troubles. I think his admonition deserves our attention!

We followers of Christ are quickly becoming strangers in a strange land. I am thankful for those who continue to talk about the truth.
I would be fearful if I didn't believe that none of what is happening is a surprise to Him, the He is in control and that He will use it for his glory!
