Is self-esteem all it's cracked up to be? In the past few years, our culture has valued and encouraged positive self-esteem, but is this healthy? Deacon Tim and I explore the issue of self-esteem as a goal itself versus a by-product of a life well-lived. A fascinating and counter-cultural question!

I have heard that people with high self esteem and low self esteem have the same problem. They are focusing on themselves. Any time we encourage others to focus on themselves, we are taking the focus away from God.
I think its important to know that We ARE who God says we are. Beyond that, seeking humility and self sacrifice is the ideal.
Just my 2 cents.
God bless~
