Deacon Tim and his adult son recently had a frank discussion about the battle men have against lust. Deacon Tim describes it as "relentless", and he hopes that God will one day give him some answers about why this is such a battleground for men in particular. Of course, our culture doesn't help matters.
I believe that this podcast will really help men in their battle for holiness. Deacon Tim enlightens us as to how men can keep their sexual natures holy, and I bet this podcast will help you see sexuality in a new way. For example - can you define the difference between chastity and abstinence? If not, this is the podcast for you! I truly believe that this is a podcast that should be heard far and wide - please send it around to every red-blooded male you know!

Couldn't help but comment on the recent developments involving the Governor of South Carolina, who risked everything in his life and subjected himself to public humiliation for the sake of an affair with a woman in Argentina. It's hard to imagine a responsible man being so out of control, and yet it seems to be increasingly common with public figures. Perhaps the fact that Bill Clinton was not held accountable has sparked an increase in such activity.

Just wanted to let you know that I have sent this to a friend and not just because you're bossy Cyndi and told me to :) I really believe this will help her and her husband. A few months ago she realized he was having some struggles in this arena and she was devastated to put it mildly. To tell you the truth, so was I. I love them both so much and she and I almost felt "cheated on" if that makes any sense. His issue was not physical but visual --he was viewing some not so nice things. Though now he seems to be doing very well, SHE is not. I know it will help her to hear that this is bigger than any of us. Especially good for her to hear that good men and holy men have these struggles. She and I were just chatting last week about how WE DO NOT UNDERSTAND this, nor can we (as I think you mentioned Cindy), but at least hearing more of how universal this struggle is, I believe will get her to a place of peace, which she truly needs. They can use any extra prayers you might have to spare! Thanks once again for your faith and inspiration.
