The saints......one of our favorite topics! For a Catholic, we believe that the "great cloud of witnesses" (Hebrews 12:1) which surrounds us are an active force, interceding in prayer for us. Deacon Tim had the privilege of learning from a man whom he knows was a saint, whose impact on his life was profound. Yet, as Deacon Tim tells us, his saintly friend was rather ordinary, and in this podcast, we learn what it takes to be a saint, too.

I need to ask...How do you KNOW someone is a saint? Wouldn't it require you to know the mind of G-d in order to know that for certain? We all know good souls...but, really is it possible for anyone to fully know the heart of another?

Well, we can't really know for sure, so your question is totally legit. So while I can't say for sure, I am still saying that my friend Bill, whom I talked about on the podcast, is a saint. If he's not...I'm in deeper trouble than I thought I was. I've never met anyone remotely like him. He was in another league.
