Are you creating God in your own image?  Is He your homeboy?  A king?   It's a critical distinction, and to some degree, our response is shaped by history.  Whatever the answer, we need to ponder and ask whether our answer is pleasing to God.

Anthropology in Support of Theology

The last forty years have been a social experiment of epic proportions - have you noticed?  The rules of behavior between men and women have totally changed, yet most people have not considered the ultimate consequences of this shift.  Anthropologists, however, have noted our behavior, and interestingly, their observations line up with the admonitions of the Catholic Church.  This is a very provocative podcast; we'd love for you to comment with your thoughts or personal experiences.

In the wake of the election, Deacon Tim and I reflect on our own "woulda, coulda, shouldas".  Where was the Catholic vote - why did so many Catholics ignore their Bishops?  What now?  Though we indict our own efforts, we have some "audacious hope" for the future, too.
