You know that phrase, "serious as sin"? Does that mean anything anymore? Is "sin" even part of the modern lexicon? In this podcast, Deacon Tim answers some questions such as "What is sin?", while explaining mortal sin, venial sin, and more. Of course, for a Catholic, sin should lead us to the confessional, which we covered in an earlier in an earlier podcast: Confession podcast.
Deacon Tim embarks this week on a new adventure in life; if you listen through to the very end of the podcast, you can find out where God is taking him!

I do listen to the podcasts! Thanks so much for the kind words and the music. What a treat that was. We will miss you guys tremendously. One small clarification: my official role is Executive Director of Catholic Charities of Wayne County, which is east of Rochester, New York.
Hey Kanes!! YOU know we love lively conversation which includes good listening,
good questions and of course, wise answers ... We also love really good guitar music and musicians who engage their audience...yes we sang along with glasses raised and we love you very much. We know we will be using our new cell phones ( welcome to our world - Wayne's World 2008 ...hello!!) and calling you weekly to catch up on the local color in good ole Oklahoma, It is great to share nationwide so we will urge the folks up here tune in... it is dawg-hard to say good bye so I will simply say, see ya!! God bless you and keep you "tuned in" to the truth! LOve Connie and Tim

If Tim & Connie's comments didn't make sense, listen to the podcast- there is a musical time-bomb at the very end!
Although we will selfishly miss having immediate personal access to T&C, it is a comfort to know that we'll keep getting our weekly dose of Two Edge Talk!
Connie- maybe we need to start our own podcast to keep up with each other!

I'm truely touched by your spirituality Deacon Tim and I think Rochester is gaining a valued asset that Tulsa will miss. I've met you only a couple of times at St Bernard's church, once at Deacon Mikell's bible study where you lead his class and also at daily mass and TMIY. I wish you well and I'm glad you will be continueing this pod cast. I've listened to all of them, some several times. I really look forward to them each week. Thanks Don

Why do I love these podcasts? Because they are filled with truth, love, grace and kindness and always lead me to God.
Thanks so much for turning my heart and mind to the Maker.
I am SO thankful you will continue this work regardless of the miles now separating you two. I too, got a little choked up for you cyndy but the east coast isn't so far away and now you have someone to stay with when you go to see fall colors.
blessings
