Just to alert you about some other noteworthy things on the blog, the left sidebar contains other interviews with some important guests.  The "Pure Heart Podcast" is the first in a continuing series of interviews with Kenneth Henderson from www.trueknights.org.  His ministry began as he worked with men to overcome pornography addictions, and this interview broadens that message and gives listeners some things to ponder about protecting the family's purity.

The second interview is with John Jansen of www.generationsforlife.org, a youth pro-life organization.  John talks about sex education in school and the confusing messages our kids hear.  This interview is "Everything You Wanted to Know about Sex Education But Were Afraid to Ask."  Don't be afraid to listen, though - it's 13 minutes that you'll want to hear! 

Cursillo and The Walk to Emmaus

Ever wondered about those first Christians?  What were their communities like?  How did they worship?  Most importantly - can we recapture their fervor?  In modern Christianity, there is a movement which has been able to successfully re-create the early Christian experience.  In Catholic circles, the movement is called "Cursillo"; in Protestant circles, the movement is called "Emmaus."  Deacon Tim and Cyndi will share about their Cursillo experience, as well as other thoughts about the work of the Holy Spirit in the early Christian communities and today.

Come Holy Spirit!

If your life lacks interest, perhaps you need to invite the Holy Spirit for a visit!  When you read through the Acts of the Apostles, signs and wonders were everywhere - never a dull moment for those Apostles.  What about now?  We'd like to re-introduce you to the often-forgotten third person of the Trinity.   In fact, we encourage you to say, "Come Holy Spirit" this week, then watch.....we're betting something glorious happens!  BUT - you've gotta post your experience on the blog - you can't keep it to yourself! Is "Truth" Created or Discovered?

This podcast sprung from an article in the Tulsa World which quoted Josh McDowell , well-known Christian author and apologist.  McDowell reports that 82% of born again young people say something can be "true for you, but not for me." 

So what is "truth"?  Can we individually decide what is true?  We all agree that the Bible is the ultimate authority for Christians, but what about when sincere Christians differ in the practice of their faith?  Ugh, things can get really sticky!  Deacon Tim exhorts us to find the answers to these questions, and he also gives us the scoop on an ancient set of clues. 

Sooooo.........weigh in!  Can YOU decide what's true?  If you know anyone who likes to think about difficult questions, send this podcast to them and have a lively discussion this week!

The Power of the Blood of Jesus

Get ready.......this podcast is not Christianity Lite.  Deacon Tim is in professor mode, and you're going to want to get out your Bible.  (Yes, we Catholics read them, too, contrary to popular belief!)  Here are the Scriptures which he references so you can follow along:
